How Forkcast verifies London events
How Forkcast keeps London event discovery source-backed: current listings, food evidence, access, location and freshness are checked separately.
Current listings come before recommendations
Forkcast lists future London events only when a current public source, a visible London venue or area, and a usable last-checked time are available. Listings that end or become stale leave current discovery pages.
Food and entry are separate facts
Forkcast does not infer catering from a venue, topic or event type. Food appears only when an organiser listing or moderated attendee contribution supplies evidence. A food claim does not mean entry is free.
Availability and location can be incomplete
Registration, price and ticket availability are shown separately from the food claim. When a venue is intentionally withheld or only an area is public, Forkcast preserves that precision instead of inventing an address.
Sources stay visible
Every current listing links to its original public source and shows when Forkcast last checked it. Attendee updates are moderated before they become public and do not overwrite organiser claims.
